Rural Studio Represents U.S. at Two Prestigious International Exhibitions

Rural Studio in Venice Biennale and Milan Triennale

Rural Studio was invited to participate in two prestigious international exhibitions: 
Milan Triennale (2 April to 12 September 2016)
Venice Architecture Biennale (25 May to 27 November 2016)

Milan Triennale is entitled ARCHITECTURE AS ART.
The Milan Triennale is curated by Lotus magazine, who invited

Fourth-year architecture celebrated the end of Fall 2015 with the 54th annual Alagasco competition. This year's challenge was to design a new 150,000 square-foot assisted living facility in the Civil Rights District of Birmingham.

Wood Comp 2015: Mentone Arts & Cultural Center

Second year architecture wrapped up the 2015 spring semester with the 49th annual Alabama Forestry Association (AFA) Wood Competition.This year’s competition focused on the design of a new facility for the Mentone Arts and Cultural Center (MACC) in Mentone, Alabama.

Timothy Fuerst, a rising fifth-year architecture/interior architecture student received First Prize in the Outstanding ePortfolio Awards from Provost Timothy Boosinger at the second annual ePortfolio Award Luncheon in May that recognized the exceptional work of the thirteen finalists.
