Jack Williams is Emeritus Professor and former Landscape Architecture Chair at the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture, Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama.  Williams, a Fulbright Scholar in Urban Design, writes about the urban form of small towns across the United States.
