Students Rise to Challenge of 51st Alagasco Competition

Fourth year architecture celebrated the end of Fall 2012 with the 51st annual Alagasco competition. This year's challenge was to design a new 225,000 square-foot hospital in Boston.

APLA Student Team Wins First Place in NOMA Competition

The student team from the School of Architecture, Design and Construction was the first place winner for the second year in a row in the National Organization of Minority Architects’ student design competition.

The 2012 Alabama Masonry Institute Competition

Third Year architecture students completed the annual “Concrete Comp” at the end of Fall Semester 2012. This competition is sponsored by the Alabama Concrete Industries Association, which provides funding for cash awards to the winning students. Winners included:  First Place, Michael Brudi

In 2008 The Friends of Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Garden and Auburn University created a garden to reflect the agenda of the former first lady and to provide a place for the public to experience native flora of the state of Alabama.
