J. Scott Finn, Associate Professor in the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture, has been accepted into the American Academy in Rome’s Visiting Artist/ Visiting Scholar program this fall.

Architecture camps were once again held over the summer on campus and in Birmingham at the Urban Studio.

Professor Scott Finn instructed 80 high school students during two sessions on campus. Students were immersed for a week of design investigations in the newly renovated Dudley Hall.

Last fall, students in ARCH 3010 and ARIA 3020, a team-taught studio led by Scott Finn and Danielle Willkens, participated in a Concrete Competition for the design of a monastery in Lanett, Alabama/West Point, Georgia.
