Professor Charlene LeBleu Presents Research in Tallinn, Estonia

Charlene LeBleu, Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture, recently presented a paper at the first EFLA Regional Congress of Landscape Architecture  held in Tallinn, Estonia sponsored by the Estonian Landscape Architects’ Union (ELAU).  This event marked a new chapter in EFLA’s history as the first (of several) Regional Congresses of the European Region of IFLA (International Federation of Landscape Architects). LeBleu’s paper entitled, “Predicting and Mitigating the Effects of Land Use and land Cover Change in Urbanizing Coastal Ecosystems was one of eighty oral presentations accepted to the congress, and one of five papers accepted to the conference from the USA. The congress program consisted of plenary and parallel presentations followed by open discussions. The proceedings of this inaugural congress,  "Acta Architecturae Naturalis", ISSN number 2228-1320, have been published as a special issue by the Tallinn University of Technology.
