Hill's Design Receives 2013 Watermark Grand Award

David Hill's design firm, HILLworks, recently received a 2013 Watermark Grand Award from publications BUILDER and CUSTOM HOME for his project, "274 Bragg Kitchen" in Auburn, Alabama. Hill, an assistant professor of landscape architecture in the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture, has received numerous awards for his adaptive re-use of a 1920's pool hall into a residence, which include the 2013 Award of Merit from the ASLA Alabama Chapter; the 2012 Award of Merit from the AIA Alabama Chapter; and the 2012 Historic Preservation Award from the HBA of Alabama. Now in its eighth year, the Watermark Awards honor builders, architects, and designers for quality, innovation, and excellence in kitchen and bath design. Winners are featured in the June 2013 issue of BUILDER magazine.
